Races
There are many races in Steel Storm. Or, rather, there will be... once we get around to creating the rest of them.
Once races actually do something, each race will have its own wiki page - as races are not yet developed, though, the whopping 2 races currently in Steel Storm are listed below.
Human
Humans are Humans (or Humagns, as the case may be). 'Nuff said for now.
Precip
The Precip, or Precipitators, are an ancient race, said to have inhabited Legend since long before the Great Cataclysm. They created various technological marvels, many of which were destroyed in the Cataclysm, but a significant amount of their technology and facilites remain, scattered throughout the fringes of human-inhabited land (and, rarely, closer to the human population centers). While this race was greatly reduced in number after the Cataclysm, they can frequently be spotted patrolling certain areas of the fringe, and much less frequently, a Precip individual can be spotted visiting a human city. Notably, the Precip have never been known to have any magic abilities at all, but their formidable technology more than makes up for it.
No one knows the true name of the Precip race, besides perhaps themselves - no name has ever crossed over into human lore. Humans dubbed the race the Precip, short for Precipitators, as they believe that this race created the advances that most current human technology was originally based off of.
